Approved by Wuxi municipal people's government, Wuxi Communications Industry Group Company Limited is a state-owned group enterprise founded by integrating the operating assets of city traffic on the basis of original Wuxi Transport Assets Management Company limited in 2003. The group company's operating and management to the state-owned assets within the business scope is under the direct authorization of Wuxi municipal people's government. Engaging in the operations of state-owned assets and capitals with the market-oriented measures, including investment and management, assets income management, property rights regulation, assets restructuring and operation, the Group is in charge of the investment and financing, construction, management for the municipal transport infrastructure and related industries. The registered capital of the company is totaling 5.538 billion yuan.
　 The company hammers at creating three platforms for the city ---“the transportation infrastructure investment and financing platform, the transportation industries development platform, the state-owned transportation enterprise reforming platform” and exploiting the function of the regional transport hub, assuming the responsibility of maintaining and increasing the assets value. Currently, the group company has 15 subordinate exclusively-invested enterprises and holding companies, referring to more than 10 industries including urban public transportation, long-distance passenger transport, road construction, modern logistics, transport engineering design, car-leasing, real estate development, intelligent transport etc.
